Contact Houston Timber Co.

The fastest way to reach us about a project is the Request a Quote form, which collects the details we need to answer properly.

Contact Details

How to reach us: project enquiries go through the quote form, so the details we need arrive in one go. If a call is easier for you, say so in the form and leave a number to reach you on.

Replies: we answer to the email address you give us on the quote form, so nothing is lost between a first message and your project details.

Where we work: we are a workshop-based operation and do not have a public showroom or walk-in location. Projects are quoted from your measurements and photographs, then delivered to you or collected by prior arrangement.

Finished work: photographs of completed projects are on the Gallery page.

What to Include in an Enquiry

The enquiries we can answer properly on the first reply all contain the same few things: what you want built, roughly what size, how many, and where it is going. “A planter about six feet long for an outdoor wall” is answerable. “Something for the garden” needs a conversation first.

The quote form asks for your name, email and delivery ZIP code, a product category and a description of the project, and whether delivery and assembly are required. Everything else is optional but useful: quantity, desired dimensions and height, an approximate budget, wood and finish preferences, access details, and a photograph or inspiration image.

Approximate measurements are fine at this stage. A rough dimension now is more useful than an exact one later, and a photograph of the space with something ordinary in it for scale tells us more than a paragraph does.

What Happens After You Send It

Requests are stored, acknowledged and reviewed by a person. If it is something we can build well, you get a written quote that sets out the product, the dimensions, the quantity, the delivery details, the price and the expected timeline, and every detail is confirmed with you before production starts.

If it is not something we can build well, we will say so rather than take the job and do it badly, and where a standard product is closer to what you need we will say which one. The full sequence is on how it works, and the questions that come up most often are answered on the frequently asked questions page.

If a Call Is Easier

The quote form has a mobile phone field and a preferred contact method, so if you would rather talk it through, say so there and leave a number. Project enquiries start with the form because it collects the details we need in one go, which is what lets a first reply actually answer the question rather than ask for more information.

There Is No Showroom to Visit

Houston Timber Co. is a workshop-based operation with no public showroom and no walk-in location. Projects are quoted from your measurements and photographs, then delivered to you or collected by prior arrangement, with the pickup location confirmed before collection.

Photographs of completed work will appear in the gallery as prototypes and customer projects are finished. Until then the page says so plainly rather than showing stock photography that is not ours.
