Where are your products made?
In the Houston area. Everything is cut and assembled locally and made to order.
Do you have set prices?
Not yet. Standard sizes, pricing and finish options are still being finalized, so every product is quote based at the moment. The quote is built around the dimensions and details you send us on the request a quote form.
Can I get a custom size?
Yes. Custom sizing is available on most products. Send us the dimensions you need.
Can several units be built to match?
Yes. Dimensions, opening size, proportions and construction are exactly the things a repeatable specification holds constant, and the written quote records which details stay the same across the project. What wood do you use?
Cedar is our default for outdoor products because it is naturally rot resistant, and it is the starting material while we test the exact construction specification for the first production models. The final lumber grade, board thickness and fastening method will be published once that testing is done. Other species can be quoted on request. There is more detail on the raised garden beds page.
Will every piece look the same?
Not exactly, and no honest maker will promise otherwise. Wood is a natural material and boards vary in tone and figure even within the same species and the same order, so exact colour or grain matching between units is not something we will promise. Dimensions, proportions and construction are held constant; colour and grain are not.
Will my product arrive finished?
No finish is assumed unless your quote states it. Finish options are still being evaluated. If you know you want the wood left to weather naturally, or that you want it finished, say so in the request so the quote reflects it.
How long will a cedar bed last?
We are not going to give you a number we cannot support. Service life depends on soil contact, drainage, sun exposure, and finish. We will publish a properly qualified answer here once we can back it up.

Yes, across the Houston area. See Delivery Areas. Pricing depends on distance, size, and access.
How much is delivery?
It is quoted with your order rather than charged at a flat rate. Distance, size and weight, quantity, assembly and how accessible the drop-off point is all move the price. The communities we deliver to routinely are listed on the delivery areas page.
What should I tell you about access?
Where the piece actually needs to end up, and anything between the kerb and that spot: a gate and its width, steps, a narrow side return, or a back garden that cannot be reached from the street. Providing those details during the quote helps the delivery requirements be reviewed before the order is confirmed. See delivery areas.
Do you assemble on site?
Assembly and placement can be quoted with your order. The delivery format is confirmed in your quote rather than assumed, because it depends on the size of the product, transport limits and the access at your address. See delivery areas.
Do you build decks, fences, or pergolas?
No. We are focused on freestanding outdoor wood products and are not taking on structural, permitted, or attached construction work.
Do you build things that are not listed?
Send the idea and the dimensions and we will tell you honestly whether it is something we can build well. We are not currently quoting structural or permitted work such as decks, pergolas or fencing, or anything that attaches to or supports a building. How long does an order take?
Lead time is confirmed with your quote rather than published in advance. It depends on the size, the quantity and the work already in the shop.
How should I look after it once it arrives?
Placement does more than anything applied to the surface: keep timber out of standing water, let air move around it, and clear debris from against the sides. Solid wood also expands, contracts and develops surface checking outdoors, and small cracks and colour change are normal rather than defects. The full guidance is on product care.
